Weekend Family Camping Trip at Airport Park, Waco

OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR: Mission Waco, Waco ISD & Rapoport families

Reach out to joinus@gtgoutdoors.org prior to registration for families not affiliated with a partner program.

****Each family MUST also attend a 30-minute virtual pre-trip orientation session. This orientation prepares families for the weekend .****

What’s Included:

  • All camping gear, meals, and structured activities provided

  • Transportation for up to 10 participants per trip (or mileage reimbursement for others)

  • A $50 H-E-B gift card for each family upon trip completion

Programming Highlights:

  • Outdoor Skill-Building: Tent setup, outdoor cooking, clothing for safe hiking, and outdoor living practices

  • Recreational Activities: Hiking, fishing, kayaking, and stargazing under the Texas sky

  • Environmental Education: Leave No Trace principles, sustainable outdoor practices, and conservation methods

Take-Home Resources:
Every participant will receive a comprehensive outdoor resource packet, including:

  • Tips for planning future camping trips

  • Local park and recreation guides

  • Environmental stewardship materials

Registration is NON-REFUNDABLE but may be transferred to another family or a trip at a later date.
